I am slowly getting back into the swing of things with this blog. With the slow renovation of my stamp room, it has been a little difficult to get down there and create. We are getting to the point where I can work a little easier, but we still have much to do.
With that in mind, I have been thinking I have not spent much time with My Digital Studio lately. Oh, how I have missed working with that program. So to get myself motivated again, I checked out a couple of the challenge blog sites that I like to frequent. Boy, was I motivated. Just within the last week, I have created three different projects with MDS and have enjoyed every minute. I plan to share each one of them with you, but in time, since one of them was an actual invitation that I want to send out for an up coming wedding shower.
So, to get things started, let's start with the first challenge. This one came from MDS Monday blog site. That site is very inspiration for me, even if I don't always play along. This first challenge out of the two that I am working with comes from Let's Use Just One! challenge. This challenge was a card sketch with the added option to use papers and stamps from one kit. Here is the sketch.
Normally when I create I pull items from a variety of kits and sets, so this extra challenge was a fun and refreshing one. I used the You're My Sunshine Kit which includes the colors of Going Gray and Crushed Curry. I gave a small nod to another color combination that I like, Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper (Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, and Coastal Cabana) by adding Bermuda Bay as a base color.
