This summer has been a busy one, and we are only about half way through. This fall our little one starts preschool. This is both a blessing and a sad time. I can't believe that four years have gone by as fast as they have, but I know that she is really looking forward to going to school. Actually, she has been ready since she was two, but mom is a different story. I am ready for her to grow and spread her wings, but also not ready to let her go out there into the big world. So we are packing in as much fun as we can this summer. During the month of June, we spend time at the zoo, activities with our county conservation, preschool camp, and a family trip to Grand Teton National Park. So when I saw the most recent sketch challenge at MDS Monday, I knew exactly what I would do with it.
I also decided to incorporate a couple of other challenges that I found this week. The second challenge in this page is from mydigitalstudio.net. This challenge is a color combination challenge using Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, and Smoky Slate. This is a beautiful combination and I loved using it. The last challenge came from a group I follow on Facebook. The Simply My Digital Studio Challenge page posts a challenge each Monday and the challenge posted this past Monday was to use Overlays. Overlays are a great way to add some texture to your projects. I love the fact that I was able to incorporate all three challenges into one project!
